Lavanono is found in the Androy Region, and before attracting surfers from across the globe, many people travelled to this remote paradise to see the biodiversity of the region that can't be found anywhere else in the world.

Since the first access by track in 1993, Lavanono has become very well known in the surfing community for its long beach and fantastic reef breaks.

It's an early start to Lavanono as we'll be travelling for 8 hours!

There is plenty to see along the way to make the trip alone worth it!

Your route will take you through lush littoral forest over the mountains into the dry spiny forests, the land of the Baobab and extraordinary tombs.

Our trip will take you sleeping and eating within sound of the waves breaking on the shore. If you wish, you can even enjoy a few sunset bonfires on the beach to the sound of live local music courtesy of the team!

During your stay, if you can tear yourself away from the beach, we can arrange a day trip to Cap St Marie National Park.

There you can see the extraordinary flora and fauna found nowhere else in the world, if we are lucky, we will also see the endangered tortoises and Sefaka Lemurs!
